Ingate SIParator with Enhanced Security Software Module Recognized for Outstanding Innovation

The SIParator is an enterprise Session Border Controller that allows businesses to use VoIP and all other forms of SIP communication outside the enterprise network (as well as within the Local Area Network [LAN]) when connecting to SIP trunks or to remote workers by solving the Network Address Translation (NAT) traversal issues with the protocol, while maintaining the security and integrity of the enterprise network. The SIParator works in tandem with an existing traditional firewall to allow the secure traversal of SIP communications, while leaving the traditional firewall in place to secure data traffic.
Providing another layer of security for SIP applications, Ingate Enhanced Security software module features an Intrusion Detection System/Intrusion Prevention System (IDS/IPS) for SIP, making it possible to detect and protect against attacks based on the protocol. IDS/IPS protects the network against attacks targeting SIP devices on the LAN, such as SIP phones.
